Fill me up buttercup.....

For some time now I have been trying to make the buttercup bag. I finally finished it (after two tries and many seam rips later). Now that I know how to do it, I will probably be making many more. I have not sewn anything since 6th grade home economics, so this was a bit tricky for an extreme novice like me. But after many Google searches to find out what this or that meant, and trial and error I debut miss Julia's buttercup purse.

Yes, the last shot the bag is hanging from my ceiling fan. It is actually the first shot and I thought it would have better lighting. You cannot see it (a little in the first shot), but this bag has a lining with a magnetic snap and a pocket.
